Laser Removal

Now available at The Brow Studio – Malahide Clinic only

After much research into laser tattoo removal, I chose to train with UNDO PMU

I know they have been in the industry many years and have all the knowledge regarding permanent make up and how to remove it ‘effectively’ but most importantly to me ‘safely’.

Over time with constant exposure to light, tattoos and permanent make up may start to change colour, maybe we have had many sessions of permanent make up but now feel we’d like something softer, lighter so removing some of the pigment is the way forward.

Whether you want to start fresh or simply lighten pigment for a softer effect, laser removal offers a safe, gentle solution.

How Does It Work?

Laser tattoo removal is performed using a Q-switch NDYag laser machine. The machine administers precise bursts of high intensity laser beam, targeting specific wavelengths at rapid speeds. These pulses are selectively absorbed by pigments/ink molecules in the skin causing them to shatter into tiny particles. Over the next few weeks the body’s macrophages absorb and break down the shattered particles which are then eliminated through the immune system. The laser is designed to effectively target the intended area while leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed.

If removing permanent make up from brows, the laser will NOT remove brow hair, it is an entirely different laser machine and wavelength that removes hair. However brow hair may ‘frost’ temporarily and look white for a few days.

Note: A patch test is compulsory
